Located just a 20 min walk from the lovely St Rémy de Provence, with its beautiful winding streets leading onto picturesque squares, many restaurants serving traditional food, cafés, and wonderful Provençal market every Wednesday. Elegant boutiques can also be found, along with much history, including the remains of the C3rd BC ‘Comptoir de Glanum’ and stunning C15th architecture. A 15 min drive will take you to Avignon, with its majestic C14th Papal Palace and Antiquaire quarter. The Pont d’Avignon is also well worth a visit. Within 1 hour drive are the beaches at Saintes Maries de la Mer, and the Camargue wildlife park. A short drive into the Alpilles hills with the charming, medieval village of Les Baux. International airport: Avignon 20 km/Marseille 75 km.
This lovely house has been built and designed to resemble a traditional ‘mas’. Set in a quiet residential area on the edge of the town, it has wonderful views across the Alpilles hills. The beautiful garden is well maintained with lavender, oleander, olive trees and grassed areas for children to play. Pretty covered terrace area looking out across the pool 10 x 5 x 0.8-2m depth with electric cover, sunloungers and BBQ.
This house is spacious and light and very comfortably furnished throughout. Living/dining room, wicker suite with cushions plus traditional sofa, satellite TV, DVD and open fire, dining table and chairs. Provençal style fitted kitchen fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher and breakfast dining area. French windows from the kitchen and living room lead onto the terrace. Utility room/WC. Bed 1: double, ensuite bath/WC. Stairs with no handrail lead from living area to first floor. Bed 2: double. Bed 3: 2 singles. Shower/WC. Separate studio by pool with kitchenette, shower/WC.2 hours cleaning included for 2 week stays. Travel cot on request. Pool towels included. Any day start (Saturday arrival in July and August), 7 night min stay.
Linen: Included with towels. A chargeable welcome hamper is available, and can be ordered when booking.
