Easy access to the slopes: the gondola lift is 200 metres from the village; it takes you to 1600m in 8 minutes, another chairlift will take you to 2100 m in 10 minutes.

Samoens has plenty of activities in the summer with a lake and a river less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village, fabulous hiking tracks all the way to Chamonix through natural reserves, golf courses in Les Gets (20 min), Megeve (1 hour) Chamonix (1 hour), the lakes of Annecy and Geneva are only 1 hour away.
