The glorious Estagnol beaches are just 10 km away where you can take boat trips to the beautiful Protected Islands of Porquerolles filled with vineyards, olive trees, fig and citrus trees and Port-Cros with its magnificent protected flora and fauna. St Tropez is easily accessible by boat from Le Lavandou (13 km) every Tuesday and Saturday and is a relaxing alternative to traveling by car into the famous town. The area also has many vineyards where you can taste the local Cotes de Provence wines. The 18 hole Golf course at Valcros is just a couple of km and can be booked through the private villa reception. Airports: Toulon/Hyères 15 km and Marseille 130 km and Nice 165 km.
Located in a recently built exclusive Domaine these luxurious villas are in the Provencal style and equipped to a very high standard offering very comfortable luxury accommodation. Each villa is perched high up on the hillside offering magnificent panoramic views towards the sea and valley below. Each has its own private pool all of which are different shapes 30-35 sq m, 1.7m max depth. All pools have security alarms and some are also fully enclosed. La Londe les MauresA recent development of high quality villas facing the “Iles d’Or” and built against the hills of the Massif des Maures. La Londe les Maures 5 km is a charming village with plenty of restaurants and shops and numerous water sports including windsurfing, sea kayaks, scuba diving and various children’s leisure activities available from the beachfront. The glorious Estagnol beaches are just 10km away where you can take boat trips to the beautiful Protected Islands of Porquerolles filled with vineyards, olive trees, fig and citrus trees and Port-Cros with its magnificent protected flora and fauna. St Tropez is easily accessible by boat from Le Lavandou (13 km) every Tuesday and Saturday and is a relaxing alternative to traveling by car into the famous town. The area also has many vineyards where you can taste the local Cotes de Provence wines. The 18 hole Golf course at Valcros is just a couple of km and can be booked through the private villa reception. Airports: Toulon/Hyères 15 km and Marseille 130 km and Nice 165 km.
Located in a recently built exclusive Domaine these luxurious villas are in the Provencal style and equipped to a very high standard offering very comfortable luxury accommodation. Each villa is perched high up on the hillside offering magnificent panoramic views towards the sea and valley below. Each has its own private pool all of which are different shapes 30-35 sq m, 1.7m maximum depth. All pools have security alarms and some are also fully enclosed. (Please request before booking if you have a specific requirement for an enclosed pool) Each villa has its own private garden area as well as a terrace for outside dining. Private parking space. The Domaine has its own security entrance which is closed at nights for extra security. Electric BBQ’s are available for hire. Some gardens have steep terraces so care with small children is advised. The villas are managed locally by friendly staff that are on hand to help and arrange extra services if required.
All villas are extremely well equipped and comfortable and are of a similar style and standard. Kitchens each fitted with large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave. Living room,dining room tastefully furnished with comfortable sofas and tiled floors. Satellite TV/DVD. CD player. Internet access available at reception area. There is no better time in France than dinner time! Local families eat out, and children are always welcome in the wonderful pavement cafes and restaurants that abound in Provence. Try Bouillabaisse, the classic seafood stew made with an assortment of fish and shellfish, tomatoes, garlic, saffron, herbs, wine and olive oil. Ratatouille is another local favourite, a Provencal vegetable stew that is popular all along the Mediterranean coast. It is a summer dish, best when the vegetables are in season and at their peak. For night life, Aix, Uzès and Bagnols have bars and night clubs, and if you really want to live it up, take that car and head for Nice, St. Tropez or Cannes. You want nightlife? Here it is!!!
The Great Outdoors
There is much to enjoy outdoors in this great area. The Gorges De L’Ardeche, sitting above Avignon, offers sailing, canoeing, fishing, climbing, horse riding, cycling, walking, beaches, caving, and makes a great day out for all members of the family. The Luberon National Park is another great open expanse with forests, mountain scenery, trails and walking that would suit all parties wanting to explore the fascinating and diverse scenery that makes up Provence. Hire bikes, take a canoe, a packed lunch and some mineral water, and enjoy a great day out in great scenery with friends and family.
Shop in local style
The historic towns of Aix en Provence, Uzes and Bagnols sur Ceze not only offer history, but great shopping as well. The local bargains in these towns to be snapped up are perfumes, soaps and eaux de toilettes all crafted in part from the local lavender, famous in the region, and of course the local wine, plentiful and good value. The local markets, especially in these towns, offer a rich variety of local produce, from fresh garlic, peppers and courgettes, to flowers, nougat (remember that Montelimar is not far away) and freshly pressed olive oil of all colours, hues and varieties.
Wine in Provence
No trip to Provence would be complete without enjoying some of the wonderful wines that are to be found in this region. Our villas are within easy reach of some of the most famous vineyards in the world, so as a must do visit Chateauneuf de Pape, now world famous. Also try the Cotes du Rhone, offering great value and quality at a reasonable price. Stop off at any of the vineyards on your journey through Provence and take a wine tour, and be surprised at the history of wine and the region that you weren’t aware of.

Visit the Gorges De L’Ardeche for an adventure day out, where you can cycle, walk, sail, sunbathe on beaches, go canyoning and many other exciting outdoor activities.
Head out early one day to the Cote D’Azur, pick a seafront bar in any of its famous towns such as Cannes, Nice, St. Tropez or Antibes, have a glass of champagne and watch the world go by, and perhaps see a film star or two!
Spend half a day in the historic and beautiful town of Aix en Provence, with its fountains, restaurants, bars, shops and history of art. This is where Paul Cezanne lived.
Take a wine tour of the area, stopping off en route at any of the chateaux and vineyards with shops en route and sample some of the great local produce.
